Help to buy success for local
couple at Pentland Homes
Pentland Homes has welcomed its first
homeowners to Elysium Park, its new
development in Dover, Kent. Situated on
Old Park Hill, the development will offer a
thriving sense of community that is perfect
for residents of all ages.
Emma, 32, and her fiancé Richard,
35, have moved into their first house
together at the development, using the
government’s Help to Buy scheme. The
Richard and Emma
couple, who visited the show house and
immediately fell in love with it, secured their
deposit the following day and moved into their home within a few months.
Emma comments: “We had been looking for a while, but struggled to find
a property locally that was available under the Help to Buy scheme. We
loved the Elysium Park site instantly; the property itself had everything we
needed to move in straight away. We chose the décor, selecting our wall
tiles, paint colour and even the kitchen units and worktops.
"My partner and I are both originally from Kent and have always enjoyed
living by the sea and town centre, so we wanted to stay local. Our new
home is perfect for what we were looking for, and I can really see us living
here for a long time.”
Located close to the iconic White Cliffs of Dover, Pentland's suburban
development boasts beautiful coast views and nearby wooded parkland.
The local village has primary schools, shops that cater for everyday
necessities, and what's more, it is only a short distance to Dover’s bustling
port. It also benefits from excellent access to the nearby towns of Canterbury
and Ashford, and boasts outstanding transport links to London and the
Eurostar international service, plus local ferry services to France and the
rest of Europe.
Julia Price, sales and marketing director at Pentland Homes, comments:
“We’re so delighted to welcome our first move-ins to Elysium Park. It is
great to hear that the Help to Buy scheme has allowed them to make their
first move on to the property ladder together. We’re really committed to
making Elysium Park an integral part of the local community, and look
forward to welcoming the rest of the residents.”
Elysium Park comprises a variety of two, three, and four bedroom
homes, currently priced from £194,995 (£155,996 with Help to Buy) to
£319,995. Each home comes with parking and represents an exclusive
and eclectic mix – some with contemporary elevations and others with
more traditional façades. Buyers can be assured that not only will they be
able to enjoy their stylish new home, but also the benefits of low ongoing
maintenance costs, a 10-year NHBC warranty and an excellent level of
customer service throughout their moving experience. Pentland Homes
have tailored incentives to assist buyers and make moving to their new
home as stress-free as possible.
