Christmas at Indian Essence
This year, Atul Kochhar’s Indian Essence, set in
the heart of Petts Wood, is offering a choice of
two festive party menus and a special Christmas
Day lunch menu. Whether you are planning a
large staff party or an intimate meal with friends,
Indian Essence has several options available
during the festive period to suit your every need.
Experience contemporary Indian cuisine at its
best with dishes such as line-caught sea bass,
baby squid fritters, mash & coconut sauce or
mushroom meatballs with truf?e kedgeree. If
you’re looking for luxury then Indian Essence will
?t the bill; their experienced sommelier is on hand
to carefully select wines that match each course
of your meal. All menus are created by their
chef/patron Atul Kochhar, who was the ?rst Indian
chef to win a coveted Michelin star. He is also
the chef/patron of Benares restaurant in Mayfair.
His contemporary cooking style has been credited
with changing the perception of Indian dining in
the UK, bringing a modern British twist to his
bold ?avour combinations.

tasting menu designed to broaden customers’
understanding of Indian cooking and its wideranging possibilities.
New Year’s Eve at Indian Essence offers
a 3-course meal from Atul Kochhar’s exceptional
new à la carte menu launched this October, as
well as entertainment from a special guest DJ
for the evening. Customers can choose between
a 6pm or 9pm onwards sitting. £70 per person.
