Starting from Lympne Village Hall, the walk will follow the Saxon Shore Way towards Hythe before joining the famous Royal Military Canal, a remarkable coastal defence system constructed during the Napoleonic Wars, for a fascinating glimpse into Britain’ s military history.

Running until Christmas Eve, visitors can browse locally made gifts, crafts and seasonal treats, with plenty of food and drink available across the harbour too.
