OH YES IT IS!
CINDERELLA! AT THE ORCHARD THEATRE
Get ready for the biggest ball of the year … And you’ re all invited! Christmas simply wouldn’ t be Christmas without a trip to the panto and this year, following its stunning refurbishment, The Orchard Theatre reopens full of festive sparkle with the magical family treat, Cinderella.
Get ready to laugh your socks off as panto legend Joe Pasquale stars alongside a hugely talented cast including Dreamcoat and musical theatre star Keith Jack as Prince Charming in search of his one true love- West End leading lady and TikTok star Abbie Budden playing the title role of Cinderella.
The hilarious( and multitalented!) Ben Goffe will have audiences rolling in the aisles as Buttons, while Gareth Mitchell and Garnon Davies unleash even more comic mayhem as the fabulously wicked stepsisters, Phyxie and Connie. Rounding off the stellar cast are West End performers Vanessa Dumatey as the magical Fairy Godmother and Craig Gallivan as Dandini.
Joe, who returns to the Dartford panto after a decade, is already counting down to opening night.“ It feels like I’ m coming home,” he says.“ The Orchard is one of my favourite theatres in the country.”
Keith adds:“ This year feels especially exciting as the theatre reopens its doors and I can’ t think of a better way to celebrate than with a spectacular and fun-filled panto season.”
Produced by award-winning Imagine Theatre, everyone’ s favourite rags-to-riches tale will be everything you know and love about traditional pantomime, brilliantly brought to life with an amazing, immersive, award-winning set featuring animated scenes and mesmerising special effects.
Expect glittering costumes, laugh-outloud comedy, show-stopping songs and audience participation galore as Cinderella promises to be the perfect festive treat for all the family, with plenty of magic, mischief and sparkle throughout, from curtain up to happily ever after.
Cinderella dreams of a happier life, away from the torment of her wicked stepsisters. When a magical Fairy Godmother appears at her door, Cinderella is transformed and whisked away in a pumpkin coach to the castle to dance the night away with the Prince. When the clock strikes midnight, she flees, leaving only a glass slipper behind …
Will Cinderella find her happy ever after in time? You’ ll have to book tickets to find out!
Whether you’ re continuing a family tradition or introducing little ones to panto for the very first time, Cinderella promises an evening packed with laughter, music, magic and festive cheer.
So, pop on your glad rags and grab your tickets to the ball in the show that proves that a pair of shoes really can change your life!
