SCOTNEY CASTLE’ S HALLOWEEN TRAIL Scotney Castle, Lamberhurst 17 Oct- 1 Nov
This autumn, Kew Wakehurst invites families to join a Fantastic Fungi Trail, inspired by the adventures of Wallace & Gromit and the villainous penguin Feathers McGraw. Children can take a closer look at the world beneath them, where the many shapes of fungi hint at an expansive ecological network below and help to foil McGraw’ s most recent plot by uncovering the‘ tricks and treats’ of fungi found across the Sussex landscape.
The monsters around the moat at Scotney Castle are enjoying a rare day off, but they’ ve lost their important invitation to an eerie gathering. To help the skeletons find it, families can follow the spooky trail around the castle grounds, where you may spot hidden creatures hiding in the trees, solve clues and take part in challenges to help uncover the secret party message.
