WARM MINIMALISM

One for the modernists, contemporary fireplaces are taking a softer turn this season, replacing stark lines and cool greys with natural texture and a warmer aesthetic. Look for expansive stone hearths, simple architectural openings, tactile plaster surrounds in chalk, putty, clay and creamy neutral tones, and considered flooring. Pair with warm oak, aged bronze accents and wool and linen to further soften your scheme.
