BRIDGE DELI, TONBRIDGE bridge _ deli
Found on Tonbridge High Street, Bridge Deli is a relatively new addition to the medieval town and one that has already caused quite a stir. Run by Sophie and Yux, the couple have created a space championing a number of small independent producers and speciality food from across the UK.
Inside, you’ ll find artisan cheeses, freshly baked bread, gourmet sandwiches, sweet treats and, of course, speciality takeaway coffee. The coffee comes from Kent-based roaster Penelope Roasters(@_ penelope. coffee) based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, bringing another taste of Kent to the coffee scene. Serving up artisan roasts, from a medium-roast Guatemalan coffee to Brazilian beans with notes of roasted almond and chocolate, the professional baristas carefully prepare every cup, making Bridge Deli a great coffee stop packed full of Kentish charm.

Bringing excellent coffee to Folkestone’ s Old High Street, Steep Street Coffee is hard to miss thanks to its vibrant orange exterior. Step inside, however, and you’ ll find a literary wonderland. Inspired by the famous book cafés of Paris, the walls are lined with poetry, local literature and art, inviting customers to browse the shelves, settle into a comfy sofa and switch off from the outside world.
While getting lost in literature, enjoy one of Steep Street’ s speciality coffees, made using beans from Kenya, Tanzania, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
