Hello my sunshine-loving furry pals.
June is when things start to feel really summery. Longer days, lighter evenings, lots of opportunities for a good adventure and some evening walks to the beach too. It’ s also the start of lots of events that my human gets very excited about taking me along to. This month, I’ m heading somewhere a little different- 4 Paws at the Fort at Fort Amherst.
Set within historic grounds in Chatham, this dogfocused event is all about fun, waggy tail energy and doing something a bit out of the ordinary. Aside from meeting other four-legged explorers, there are loads of activities from dog competitions to puppy ballparks, areas to sniff and snacks to enjoy, and a dedicated doggy market.
The highlight that I’ m looking forward to the most? The Bubble Dog Disco! Yes, really. Floating bubbles, music and a whole lot of happy barkinducing joyful chaos.
Keep your lead handy, bring your water bowls and be ready for a bit more of a busier environment that my typical walks. There’ s plenty of space to explore around the fort too, with paths and open areas to stretch your legs or have a little rest in between the action.
