The Sunshine Café is set to open its doors this May to host a dinner party to remember. Created simply to bring people together over great food and including a welcome glass of fizz and a seasonal three-course set menu, this much-anticipated guest chef evening will be led by Ryan Jacovides. Holding over 25 years in the industry, Ryan is the visionary behind dining star Pomus, a wine bar and restaurant focused on hyper-seasonal cooking and warm hospitality based across the Kent coastline in locations he used to holiday in as a child.

A four-strong troupe of actors who pedal from venue to venue with their set, props and costumes on their bikes, join the HandleBards at EM Forster’ s Library Gardens for an outdoor production of Shakespeare’ s As You Like It. Rosalind and her cousin Celia flee to the Forest of Arden, where they bump into Rosalind’ s love interest Orlando. However, Rosalind is disguised as a young man. Cue some local shepherds getting involved and the stage is set for a wild ride of wooing, hilarious mistaken identity and the odd wrestling match
