Encouraging curiosity, play and exploration, this brand-new immersive art experience offers families a magical opportunity to step into a world shaped entirely by light, colour and architectural form. Created by the internationally acclaimed Architects of Air and world-renowned artist Alan Parkinson, the inflatable sculpture is a feast for the senses. Fully accessible for wheelchair users and suitable for all ages, wander through winding tunnels, soar beneath domes and explore interconnected chambers full of radiant colour.

THE BIG BRICK BUILD AT DOVER CASTLE Dover Castle, Dover 3- 12 Apr
Join Dover Castle’ s master builders and help bring history to life with LEGO ® bricks. Mini builders can test their skills by building a piece of history, with expert brick builders on hand for top tips. Entry is first come, first served and each build experience lasts 15 minutes. English Heritage members are encouraged to make the most of their membership by visiting again over the 10 days to create a second piece or simply to stop by to see the masterpiece come to life.

HERITAGE TRANSPORT SHOW Kent Showground, Detling
Don’ t miss this unique celebration of classic and vintage cars, motorcycles, tractors, steam, stationary engines, commercial and military vehicles. With over 1,000 vehicles expected to exhibit, the show will also be joined by the South East Bus Festival, bringing buses and coaches from across the South East and beyond. Step back in time to discover vehicles of the past, catch a free bus ride, browse the autojumble sale and farmers’ market, take a spin on the traditional funfair and watch great live entertainment.

ADAM FROST Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells
Award-winning garden designer and BBC Gardeners’ World presenter Adam Frost is heading on tour, stopping off at Tunbridge Wells’ Assembly Hall Theatre this month. Adam will discuss the plants that have shaped his life and reflect on what’ s brought him to where he is now. He’ ll unearth the inspiration he’ s found through a life in the garden and share the previously untold stories of how his passion for plants has taken him around the world and challenged him with unexpected experiences.

GREEN WOOD WORKSHOP Bore Place, Chiddingstone
Join underwoodsman John Waller on a oneday introduction to working wood straight from the log. Learn how to make a mallet and then work on the shaving horse and pole lathe to make a garden dibber, rounders bat, porridge stirrer, spatula or honey drizzler. Suitable for beginners, the course shines a spotlight on Green Wood, a freshly felled, still sappy wood that requires a set of techniques based on an understanding of how wood reacts to both tools and crafting processes.
