Betteshanger Country Park is preparing to celebrate one of their extraordinary landscape’ s defining features at their annual Wind Festival. Take your places and get ready to watch the professionals from Kent Kite Flyers in action as they fill the sky with their colourful shapes and creations. A brilliant day out for the whole family, the festival promises a fantastic day of kite-flying, kite-making and a number of other crafts which will be available at a small charge.

Set within the Hever Castle grounds, get ready to embark on The Great Dragon Egg Hunt, a familyfriendly quest to find dragon eggs hidden across the estate. Young adventurers will follow the trail, learn dragon-themed facts and collect letters to solve a secret word puzzle. Once complete, they can head to the information kiosk to reveal the answer and collect a prize.
