Love to Go: One of the best things about my job is finding all of the great things that are happening in Kent, then trying to experience as many of them as possible. Hever Castle is an amazing place to visit year round, particularly to see the gardens and grounds through the seasons, but their open-air theatre is incredible- I urge you to go!
Love to Eat: I love the fact that Kent has such incredible restaurants, from family-run bistros to award-winning gastropubs and globally acclaimed fine dining. For a real culinary treat I stand by the fact that hide and fox still holds my number one spot for the best conceived taster menu I have ever had the pleasure of tasting( and that was before their much-deserved second Michelin star!).
Love to Do: My downtime typically consists of shopping and food, but for the ultimate refresh I head to the spa. My faves include Champneys at Eastwell Manor for their great outdoor pools and signature facials, Rowhill Grange for their subterranean spa and Reynold’ s Retreat at Borough Green for its tree-top views and monsoon showers.

Love to Go: A family stay at the incredible Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve will always hold magical memories for us Readys. From waking up to a tiger peeking through the window after a night in Tiger Lodge to exploring the reserve by golf buggy as the sun sets over the savannah.
Love to Eat: For a banging breakfast and a top-notch morning coffee it has to be Marleys in Folkestone. Their smashed avocado on Dockers’ sourdough with brilliantly poached eggs is still a firm favourite of mine!
Love to Do: As a family, we love to pack up the bikes of a weekend and head to the coast of Hythe for a blustery cycle to the backdrop of the picturesque seafront.
