Launched in 2019 as a unique solution to help tackle the issue of plastic waste littering the globe, Oltco’ s Recycle Bound solution has recycled the equivalent of 1 Billion plastic straws. Today, it is being used not only on driveways up and down the UK and Channel Islands but also at some of the UK’ s leading hotels and attractions and Jaye Cook and Steve Zoghob, heading up Oltco Kent, have played a huge part in these projects.

Recycle Bound is made utilising a mix of resin, stone aggregate and waste plastic( straws, plastic drink bottles and plastic food packaging) from a plastic recycling point, with each square metre consisting of the equivalent of 3,000 plastic straws. Therefore, if this product was laid on a standard 70 square metre drive, the equivalent of 210,000 plastic straws would be recycled in the process.
