Resolution Together: A New Way Forward in Resolving Separation Disputes
Gullands has launched Resolution Together, a new service for separating couples enabling them to work amicably with one lawyer to help them reach a final agreement on the issues arising as a result of their separation, especially in relation to finances.
This works for couples who are comfortable discussing everything openly with each other; there must be no concern about controlling or abusive behaviour and no known legal conflicts. The first step is that Gullands’ partner Julie Hobson will meet with both people involved individually for a fixed-fee appointment, the cost of which is £ 200 plus VAT per person.
If, after those two appointments, Julie is happy the case is suitable for Resolution Together, both people involved in the separation will begin to meet together with Julie present.
Resolution Together is charged by Julie at an hourly rate, so you have one bill as a couple instead of both instructing solicitors and incurring double the cost. Julie will also work with you to choose other legal professionals if needed such as mediators, financial and pension experts, or other forms of family support such as family therapists and divorce coaches.
