“ There’ s something truly magical about Kent at Christmas. From wandering through the twinkling lights at Christmas at Bedgebury and sipping hot chocolate piled high with cream to taking crisp winter walks across the Tunbridge Wells countryside, there’ s plenty to love. I always make time for a visit to the beautiful Pantiles- its festive charm and cosy pubs like The Beau and Nash just down the road make for the perfect pitstops. Nothing beats ending the day by the fire with local produce, a generous glass of wine and a Korker sausage roll( or two!). Kent really comes alive at Christmas in a perfect blend of tradition and community.”

“ I absolutely love spending Christmas in Kent- it’ s such a magical time of year. From wandering around the Folkestone Festive Market to exploring our many independent shops, there’ s such a wonderful sense of community around this time of year. There’ s nothing better than seeing Kent’ s cafés, shops and pubs fully decked out for the season, and when it comes to gifts, I always make an effort to shop local and support small. There’ s also nothing better than meeting up with friends and family in some of Kent’ s cosy pubs and restaurants; some personal favourites include The Three Chimneys, Radnor Arms, The Harbour Inn, THE PIG- at Bridge Place and Port Lympne. I also love wrapping up warm and heading to a National Trust site such as Sissinghurst Castle Garden for a winter walk. And of course, no Christmas is complete without an annual visit to Kingswood Christmas Trees!”
“ Christmas starts in June for us here at Kent Turkeys with the arrival of our KellyBronze turkeys, so by the time December comes around we’ re very ready to share the Christmas spirit! It’ s a busy time for us, but I like to make time to get out to local Christmas markets and top up on festive food to serve alongside our turkey. It’ s always a highlight to head out to our collection points, which include Penshurst Place, The Old Fire Station Tonbridge, Coolings Garden Centres and Holtwood Farm Shop in Aylesford to name a few, as well as welcoming customers here at Woolpack Corner Farm, near Biddenden.”
