Academic choice- multiple pathways at KC allow every student the opportunity to succeed:
International Baccalaureate. Well regarded by universities around the world, the IB is an increasingly popular choice for students who want to continue to study more than three subjects in the Sixth Form and keep their future options open. KC has been running the IB for over 13 years and we are regularly in the top 10 IB schools in the UK( small cohort), with an average score of 37 against a world average of 30.
A-Levels and Cambridge Technical enable students to mix and match combinations of courses to suit their individual needs across 27 subject choices.
EPQ. All students have the chance to complete a formal research project of their choice; honing their academic skills and preparing them for further study at undergraduate level.
When students have decided on their academic programme, we design bespoke timetables to suit their combination of subjects, which is supported by independent academic study, too.
Scholarships that help students to realise their potential:
We offer academic, art and design, drama, music and sport scholarships; so, if you have a talent, reach out to find more about how KC can support your ambitions.
Planning for the future
Do you want to be an aerospace engineer, a psychologist, stage manager, sports scientist or virtual reality architect? At KC, we encourage and support students to develop themselves through a culture of independence, ambition and personal development, ready to achieve their goals and find their path in the wider world post-school.
