RELISHING DELIGHTFUL WINTER FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS AT …
BRENLEY FARM’ S SUPPER CLUBS

®

This season, Brenley Farm in Faversham is savouring the simple pleasures of good food, fine wine and great company. In collaboration with Terra Nova Kitchen, Brenley’ s monthly supper clubs celebrate Kent’ s best seasonal produce, perfectly paired with their own estategrown wines.
Each evening begins with a complimentary glass of Brenley Wine on arrival, followed by a three-course menu with a glass of wine expertly paired with each course. Taking place on 7 November for £ 75 per person, this month’ s Winter Supper offers a cosy candlelit evening inside the Grain Store with slow-cooked braises, rich sauces and sticky puddings. On 12 December, the Festive Feast brings a creative take on classic Christmas flavours- the perfect way to toast the season.
Brenley Wines are available to enjoy on the night or to purchase direct from the vineyard. Find out more and book your tickets at brenleyfarm. co. uk.

KARLENE GANNON iK OPERATIONS MANAGER karlene @ sidewaysmedia. co. uk
The beautiful old market town of Faversham is my lifelong home and one of Kent’ s true gems. With its independent shops, cinema, swimming pool and weekly market, I feel incredibly fortunate to spend my time here.
I first joined Sideways Media in 2019, returning to work after my second child started school. iK-land with its endless deadlines keeps me busy; two days are never the same and life at Sideways HQ is never dull! Although Kent has always been my home, working at insideKENT has given me a true appreciation for all that Kent has to offer.
When I am not busy being an office mum to my work family, you’ ll find me enjoying the great outdoors with my best friend Florrie, my cockapoo. Exploring life off the beaten track, the woods and our superb coastline have led me to find some of the best spots right on our doorstep. As the festive season draws closer, as a family we look forward to all the exciting Kentish events in the run up to the big day.

TOP EATS & SHOPPING
We are blessed in Faversham to have the wonderful Macknade Farm Shop. It just wouldn’ t be Christmas for us without a festive shopping trip to try all the incredible food and drink they have on offer. The bakery, butchers and deli counter are a must-see, providing all the delights for the festive table as well as perfect gifts and hampers.
TOP FESTIVE ACTIVITY
One event we always look forward to in our calendar amongst many others is our annual Dobbie’ s Santa Paws visit. Who said Christmas is all about the children? It’ s for our furry friends too! Florrie loves meeting all the other dogs as well as Father Christmas himself who is always ready with a gift and treat for the perfect photo opportunity.
TOP DAY OUT
I enjoy all that our wonderful towns have to offer in the run up to Christmas. From the Christmas light switch-ons, night markets and light installations to wonderful eateries and of course the Canterbury Christmas panto- it’ s the law! Kent at Christmas is to be enjoyed and celebrated.
