OH YES IT IS!

GREENWICH THEATRE’ S AWARD-WINNING PANTO RETURNS FOR 2025!

For families across South East London( and beyond), Christmas can truly begin with a trip to Greenwich Theatre. Year after year, their pantomimes bring together generations of theatregoers for an afternoon or evening of laughter, music and festive mischief. It’ s a tradition that the theatre is fiercely proud of, and this year the team have reunited for another spectacular show: Peter Pan, starring Greenwich’ s own Anthony Spargo as the gloriously villainous Captain Hook.

Over the years the pantomime has become one of the cornerstones of Christmas in Greenwich, known for riotous humour, dazzling costumes and a magical family atmosphere. Last year, that reputation was recognised on a national level when Greenwich’ s festive production scooped three major awards— including an OFFIE and two National Pantomime Awards! Those awards seem to celebrate what South East London audiences have known all along- that Greenwich Theatre is home to one of the very best pantos in the country.
“ The real magic of pantomime surely lies in the shared experience. There’ s something wonderful about seeing children shouting“ He’ s behind you!” at the top of their lungs, parents laughing just as hard at the jokes, and grandparents joining in with the singalongs,” said James Haddrell, artistic director.“ Our auditorium rings with the kind of joy that only panto can deliver. For many children, it’ s their very first trip to the theatre and we take that responsibility seriously, making sure the show is packed with wonder, warmth and just the right amount of silliness.”
This year’ s production of Peter Pan promises to be another unforgettable adventure. With Anthony Spargo returning as Captain Hook, audiences can expect his trademark mix of razor-sharp wit and devilish charm. He’ ll be joined by a brilliant cast of familiar faces and new talent, and of course, the spectacular flying effects that will bring Neverland to life right here in Greenwich.
Behind the scenes, the theatre’ s creative team have been hard at work all year crafting the show, designing the sets, assembling the playlist and perfecting the choreography. Every sequin, every sound cue, and every silly gag is carefully considered to make sure that the magic is as fresh and sparkling as ever.
So, whether you’ re a panto regular or visiting for the very first time, Greenwich can promise an evening of adventure, laughter and festive cheer.
Peter Pan runs at Greenwich Theatre from 28 November 2025- 11 January 2026. Tickets are selling fast, so book early to secure your seats.
