1- Giraffes are a feature at Spring Grove, but there is only one that really matters- Jelly, the school mascot. Just like a young giraffe learning to stretch its neck and explore the world, pupils at Spring Grove are encouraged to reach beyond the expected, to grow boldly and to find their spark- whatever that might be.
1:8.6- The staff-to-pupil ratio( Reception class upwards) is one teacher for every 8.6 pupils at Spring Grove. This low adult-tochild ratio ensures that every pupil at Spring Grove receives the individual attention and high-quality support they need to thrive.
40- The percentage of Year 6 leavers heading to senior independent schools in 2025. Spring Grove offers support for every pupil, whether they are sitting independent school tests and scholarships or taking the 11 + Kent Test. We know that children will be happiest and most successful when matched with a senior school that suits their strengths and interests, and staff at Spring Grove work closely with families throughout their time at the school to make this important choice.
86- At the end of the appeals process, the percentage of Year 6 leavers who sat the 11 + Kent and Shepway tests and secured places at grammar schools for September 2025. Typically more than half of Spring Grove pupils move on to the grammar school of their choice when they leave at the end of Year 6.
3,429- The number of lengths of the Spring Grove swimming pool completed by pupils, staff, Old Springgrovians, parents and grandparents during our 12-hour Summer Swimathon. The event raised more than £ 1,000 for Demelza Hospice Kent.
