Please tell us a little about North Outdoor Living and BBQ. We are an owner-operator family business and have built on decades of knowledge in the BBQ sector, as well as our relationships with all the major and noteworthy brands and suppliers. We work directly with retail customers, architects, landscapers and garden designers to achieve the specific customer requirements in both off-the-shelf and custom-built and designed solutions.
North Outdoor Living and BBQ is a unique business in so much as no other business in the South East, or possibly further afield, carries the range and selection of brands and equipment that we are able to. Our brands are carefully selected and many products are developed with the manufacturers to allow integration across brands for cooking devices, kitchen units and outdoor appliances. We pride ourselves on stocking a high proportion of British brands and support sustainable suppliers and products across the store. We have options to suit all budgets and a selection that can’ t be found anywhere else in the UK.
What are the main BBQ and live-fire cooking brands you carry? For BBQs, we carry gas-fired units from Napoleon and Beefeater, and in charcoal-fired units we are authorised dealers for Kamado Joe,
Masterbuilt, ProQ, Napoleon and Blok Customs. For live-fire cooking, we have a number of British brands where we can supply off-theshelf units or custom-built units, including our own compact Asado grill units. Our brands include Blok, Ox Grills, Levithan Pits, Ofyr and Flammery. In outdoor ovens, we stock gas and wood-fired ovens from Gozney and British-made Charlie Charcoal ovens.
You recently expanded the business into outdoor living; tell us more. As a natural progression to expand our customer base and offering, we have added some specific outdoor living products which have a direct fit to the existing product lines. These include RB73 outdoor stoves and again British-made Morvelle bioclimatic pergolas and canopies.
We understand you supply and install outdoor kitchens- are they popular in the UK? Outdoor kitchens are quickly becoming our core product area and we have developed some unique brand relationships to offer customers both individuality and a range of options for both budget and finishes. In this area, we represent British-made options from Vlaze finished in vitreous enamel, and Warrington & Rose constructed from microreinforced concrete.
Minimalistic design is provided by our UKexclusive Danish brand, Norrvik, where we have preconfigured options and colours, and a range of worktop finishes. The outdoor kitchen brands for 2025 are completed by Whistler and Napoleon, who offer preconfigured unit options to provide all options in a quality yet more budget friendly solution.
Integration between BBQs, cooking equipment and our range of outdoor kitchens is paramount to our customer offer including detailed specifications and design where required.
Do you have any other offerings in the new showrooms? Additionally, in the showroom we offer a large selection of Yeti drinkware, coolers and other accessories along with a range of rubs and sauces from a wide selection of British and some independent brands well known in the BBQ world. Other BBQ needs are covered from our wide selection of British produced sustainable woods and charcoals.
