Wellbeing Walks, Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, Goudhurst forestryengland. uk
Research shows that time spent in nature- within forests in particular- can have a dramatic effect on people’ s wellbeing.
From improving cardiovascular health and reducing stress to enhancing creativity and encouraging mindfulness, it’ s no wonder that hikers often explore the glorious woodlands of Kent in groups. A great opportunity to forge connections with nature, your inner calm and perhaps some new friendships, Bedgebury’ s Wellbeing Walks are one such activity.
Home to a world-leading collection of conifers and a landscape of rolling hills and valleys across the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bedgebury has miles of trails to explore. Every Wednesday at 10am, volunteer walk leaders gather with both new and seasoned walkers to journey through the forest, fostering a supportive and comfortable environment for everyone in the group. Each week explores a new route across the National Pinetum, with the walks lasting approximately one hour, after which attendees can gather at Bedgebury’ s cafe for a well deserved cup of tea.
World Ocean Day Seashore Safari, Louisa Bay, Broadstairs visitthanet. co. uk
