We carefully consider the materials we use and always research sustainable options that fit both the aesthetic and the budget. When reupholstering furniture for example, we opt for eco-friendly materials wherever possible. It’ s about being mindful of what we’ re putting into a space and how it will endure over time.

What’ s the most common mistake people make when designing interiors and how can it be avoided? Not keeping track of costs can derail a project quickly. It’ s important to do your homework before you start- identify the items that are non-negotiable and work the rest of the design around them. That way, you can refine other choices while still achieving your overall vision.
What interior trends are you currently seeing? Sustainability and the use of natural materials remain strong across the board. We’ re seeing increased interest in cork flooring- it’ s practical, eco-conscious and visually striking. Pattern and colour drenching are also very current, where walls, ceilings and even trims are enveloped in a single hue or bold design. We pay close attention to architectural elements like door frames and skirting, treating them as key design features. Layering textures- bouclé, velvet, linen- and mixing finishes is something we’ ve always loved, and it’ s very much in line with today’ s trends.
