ELWICK PLACE’ S FAMILY-FRIENDLY FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL IS BACK FOR 2025!
Foodies, are you ready? Mark your calendars because ASHFOOD!- Kent’ s favourite family-friendly food and drink festival- is returning to Ashford’ s Elwick Place on 28 June! Not only will this tasty celebration be hotter( quite literally) that ever, it’ s also bigger, better and bursting with even more flavour!
For the third year running, but this time for one day only- Saturday 28 June- friends, family and foodies from near and far are invited along for a day packed with mouthwatering eats, drinks, live music, performances and fun for the whole family.
As part of the Ashford Food & Drink Festival, happening across the town centre, and thanks to headline sponsor, Girlings Solicitors, along with Elwick Place’ s resident businesses including The Ashford Cinema and Matches Sports Bar, the festival is set to be a feast for the senses.
Get ready for the finest local food vendors serving up everything from handcrafted cocktails by World Margarita finalist Lexi at Hide Bar to the best wines from Kent’ s Wine Garden of England. Craving bold flavours? Lilia’ s Kitchen will take your taste buds straight to the shores of Madagascar, while locally renowned Il Pakkero returns to dish out Italian deliciousness. For a sweet treat, the Simply Ice Cream wagon will be on hand, while the iconic Caffeine & Fizz pink coffee truck will tackle those caffeine cravings.
It’ s not just about food, however, this festival is also packed with entertainment! Expect live music, performances and activities throughout the afternoon. From local legends like The Upsetters, a threepiece acoustic band, to the incredible DJ JG keeping the energy high, they’ ve got good tunes covered. Country fans won’ t want to miss Tom Wilson bringing his heart-thumping hits to the stage! There will also be local students from Towers School Performing Arts wowing the crowds, as well as an incredible local dance school showing off their moves!
And it’ s not just for adults – the little ones will be kept busy with free crafts, face painting and activities, as well as a huge dancefloor to throw some shapes, too.
