AMERICAN SPEEDFEST 12 HEADS TO BRANDS HATCH!
American SpeedFest 12 powered by Lucas Oil heads to Brands Hatch for the ultimate weekend-long fusion of American motoring, racing and live music on 7- 8 June. This jam-packed fixture is the Kent circuit’ s ultimate family festival with something for everyone- and children under the age of 13 go free!
Action on the Indy circuit will be headlined by the NASCAR Euro Series, the only officially sanctioned stock car racing of its kind you’ ll see in the UK. Colourful machines resembling Ford and Chevrolet muscle cars will rumble around the famous venue in two races per day, with pre-race ceremonies and Victory Lane podium celebrations adding to the Stateside feel.
Further V8 thunder will come from special demonstration sessions for NASCAR racers, originally built and raced in the USA, in addition to races for classic American cars. The full on-track programme will also include the Pickup Truck Racing Championship and the Legends Cars National Championship for scaled down cars based on retro American models.
This event is about much more than just the racing, however, with a super-sized off-track show with loads to see and do. This includes the returning SpeedFest Music Festival presented by CountryLine, which will be headlined on the Saturday night by Grammy Award-winning artist, Breland. The full music lineup will include a range of touring country and Americana-inspired artists, and entry to the festival stage area is included within the price of a standard SpeedFest ticket.
Other event highlights will include a massive American car show as the venue is filled with roadgoing favourites from Ford, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and more. There will also be stunt shows in the Live Action Arena, with a special show featuring the Swamp Thing monster truck, Guinness Record-holding stunt motorcyclist Johnny Davies and rubber-burning drag racers.
On top of all that, themed food and drink, fairground rides, a trade area and children’ s entertainment will all add to an event that has so much to see and do. All in addition to the weekend-long festival of music and motorsport!
Tickets are available now for discounted advance prices, with the best value adult ticket including weekend admission with camping available for just £ 84. Alternatively, single-day options or weekend tickets without camping are available too, with further reductions on all options for 13- 15-year-olds and completely free entry for under-13s.
