K ent has long been considered one of the most exceptional counties in the whole of the UK when it comes to educating our children . Besides Ofsted exponentially adding more of its 540 primary schools and 220 secondary schools ( including private schools , grammar schools and nonselective schools ) to their hallowed list of outstanding education providers , in Kentish schools , 11.48 % of pupils achieve a strong pass in reading , writing and maths versus the England average of 9.86 %. Figures like these speak for themselves .
For parents and carers of school-age children , it ’ s a huge relief to know that there are so many fantastic schools dotted across the county . And for children lucky enough to be born and bred in Kent , this means their education is guaranteed to be excellent , imparting upon them the essential life skills that only a great school can while being taught by teachers – both engaged and engaging – with a real passion for what they do .
