A packed programme of activities is due to take place at Kent Life this month , with plenty of fun for all ages . Join in with feeding sessions with the animals such as pigs , sheep , ponies and goats , and take time to visit the Kent Owl Academy . Visitors will also be able to step back in time at the Vintage Village , explore the indoor and outdoor play areas and join experiences with blacksmith specialist , John Howard , as he showcases his skills on multiple days throughout the event .

Alongside the exciting activities available for the Earth Photo Exhibition , on selected dates there will also be the opportunity to join Yuki , the founder of Cultivate Life , a lifestyle blog that focuses on healthy eating , eco-living and money-saving topics , as they share their top tips .

Wrap up warm and embark on a winter wander with Jock , Chartwell ’ s famous cat . When the 1927 blizzard transformed the estate of Chartwell into a winter wonderland , the Churchill family and their guests made the most of the freezing temperatures . Be transported back in time with Jock , starting by picking up a trail sheet at the Visitor Centre and following the map to find the activity stations in order to win a prize . Please note the house and studio at Chartwell are currently closed but the gardens , car park and shop will be open .

Usually closed for the winter , Great Comp Gardens will open especially for one day this February for the anticipated Snowdrop & Plant Fair . Dr Michael J Broadhurst of Rainbow Farm Snowdrops , Paul Barney of Edulis , Chris Cooke of Dundry Nursery , Carolyn and John Millen of Spring Platt Snowdrops and many more are set to display their snowdrops and winter flowering plants within the beautiful seven-acre gardens .
