Forest bathing is not simply a walk in the woods , it ’ s a blend of mindfulness and exploration designed to return ourselves to our natural roots , rekindling the bond between humans and the natural world in remembrance that we are just as much a part of it as it is a part of us . Led by outdoor life coach and forest bathing guide Tansy , locals
and visitors alike can bathe in the very best of the Kentish countryside on a variety of unique workshops and day retreats .
With Tansy , walkers can book their own private forest bathing or mindful walk experiences for groups of one to eight people , offering quality time to unite friends and families in their curiosity and love for the natural world . A mindfulness-based practice of connecting to nature via all of the senses , forest bathing creates an opportunity to escape our fast-paced lives to feel grounded , calm and connected , providing walkers with feelings of deep relief , spaciousness and peace . During the experience , some choose to bring a journal to capture their thoughts , while others incorporate meditation into their routine - but there is no right or wrong way to forest bathe . All that ’ s required is an open mind and a desire to enjoy this calming wellness wandering .
