Since the uber-creative Maria Easley fell in love with crafting innovative cocktails during her time working in bars and hosting for friends , she set out to turn her passion into a career , ultimately transforming the way others experience , think and feel about the art of mixology . Today , it seems she has achieved just that . The Midnight Muddler is a dedicated cocktail consultancy business that specialises in creating premium cocktails using local fruits , produce and artisan spirits from Kent distilleries , with additional offerings of cocktail masterclasses , a mobile service and signature creation for bars and brands . “ I ’ ve always enjoyed making things , so the process of cocktail creation and innovation is a great creative outlet ,” says Maria . “ My spare time is spent coming up with innovative ideas in cocktail making . You ’ ll find me in the kitchen or bar conjuring up a new twist on a classic , or deconstructing and exploring flavours to recreate a friend ’ s favourite family recipe into a new cocktail .”

With a background in education , but a lifelong love for all things fashion and design , and a strong desire for a new challenge , Jay Mitchell excitedly took the leap during April of this year with HONEE , a beautiful women ’ s boutique situated in the heart of Mill Yard on West Malling ’ s Swan Street .
