Creating eye-catching artificial flower displays and arrangements for events , corporate clients , weddings and residential homes and gardens across Kent , London and the surrounding counties , HeiDesigns was founded by innovator Heidi Lawley back in 2019 with a dream of creating unforgettable experiences with impactful floral design . Specialising in bespoke faux arrangements , including transforming homes for the festive period , Heidi and her team offer a collaborative and passionate approach to ensure designs and themes are executed to the highest standard , always .
What makes you stand out from other decorators ? HeiDesigns is founded on a philosophy of being close to nature and our team are all professional florist designers . We use luxury faux florals and foliages of the highest quality that replicate the beauty of nature . Our Christmas decor always has botanical features along with the spirit and sparkle that brings the season to life . We are passionate about the designs we create looking like they are intentional and belong in their space . Each design is bespoke and unique for our clients , showing care and attention to each piece .
What should our readers consider when it comes to choosing their Christmas decor ? It is about enhancing the space through lights , colour and texture . When choosing your colour or theme , we recommend looking at the room itself - do you want a contrasting or cohesive theme ? On a more practical front , think about the longevity of the designs . If you like to start celebrating and entertaining early , we suggest faux choices . If you want that gorgeous , evocative spruce smell from your designs , fresh is the only way , but you need to consider installing well into the first week of December , so it stays at its best for the big day . Finally , book early ! The last week of November is our most in-demand week and we ’ re usually fully booked by mid-September .
What ’ s been the most surprising interiors trend you ’ ve seen this year and why ? We don ’ t think it is really much of a surprise , but people are definitely moving towards surrounding themselves with botanicals . We have installed several interior faux-planting schemes for clients who don ’ t have the right light or conditions to keep fresh plants alive and thriving , as well as a number of faux flower displays in gardens for people who want year-round colour .
Is there a standout trend that ’ s emerged for 2024 Christmas interiors ? Our most popular colour selection this Christmas has been metallics - champagnes , gold and silver with modern , frosty white accents . Matte and pearlescent finishes are featuring as a fantastic contrast to the gleaming and shiny mirrored metals , too ; it ’ s been a lovely theme to curate for our clients because of the range of textures .
What trends can we expect to see more of in 2025 ? Interiors taking on a more natural and traditional feel . For Christmas , we are already seeing people leaning toward paper decorations , tartan ribbons and dried fruits and cones . We think there will be a move to comfort and cosiness influenced by Highland cabins and bringing more Scandinavian hygge into the finished feel .
