How would you describe your style ? I would say I have a particular minimalist Scandinavian / Danish influence with a hint of Aussie style mixed in . I ’ m a fan of adding in mid-century vintage furniture , signature pieces or impact lighting to help add lots of character / talkability to my clients ’ designs . I definitely aim to put my clients ’ needs and lifestyle before my own visual ambitions for a space in order to find the right balance .
What makes you unique to other interior designers ? As I work remotely , I have the ability to work with clients across the UK as well as some abroad . I provide my clients with a personal one-to-one call , so we can have open conversations and share all information freely . It ’ s great to get under the skin and discover what their key factors and desires are for their home .
I provide high-reality visual renders / videos , so this clearly demonstrates an extremely realistic visual of what they will be able to create , and I have found this invaluable to demonstrate and explain to contractors , so they can understand the vision before they begin . This also means I can create the room design before the client needs to spend additional large amounts of money with builders .
I try to work with the client when they are at the early architectural stage , so that the interior design is not seen as a last minute add-on ; it needs to be integral from the outset , so much so that it should help inspire the architectural structure of a space before anything has been built .
Also , I have clear tailored price packages so the client can decide what level of detail they require - one room or an entire house ? Visuals only or an additional clickable shopping list so they can buy my suggested interiors with one simple click ? This keeps communication clear and open .
