Upon arrival on Christmas Eve , guests are greeted by Port Lympne ’ s jovial elves before embarking upon a safari tour to explore the parkland and its unusual wildlife , including giraffes , zebras , white rhino , and wildebeest , before a wonderful three-course dinner is served in the elegant Garden Room Restaurant in the evening .
On the big day , Port Lympne will be closed to the public , allowing for exclusive access and enjoyment of the entire reserve . Tuck into a full English breakfast in the morning accompanied by board games and festive film favourites , before Lee Edney , Port Lympne ’ s executive head chef , reveals his personally designed Christmas Day lunch menu , which will be served with a glass of Gusbourne English sparkling wine . Afterwards , be sure to watch the King ’ s Speech in the Port Lympne Mansion , where King Edward VIII once visited .
Boxing Day ’ s line-up includes the opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with one of the animal residents of Port Lympne on a personalised animal experience – the perfect way to spend the last moments of your magical retreat .
