LOCAL DOG BEHAVIOURIST WINS SOUTH EAST PRESTIGE AWARD
Winnie ’ s World , a local dog behaviourist business run by Lauren Sharkey , has won Dog Behaviourist of the Year at the London & South East England Prestige Awards 2024 . The judges praised Lauren ’ s outreach efforts to educate the local community on all things dog , which she achieves through collaboration with local vets , rescue centres and dog walkers to improve dog welfare and identify behavioural challenges as early as possible .
“ I am absolutely thrilled to have won Dog Behaviourist of the Year in my region despite only setting my own business up a couple of years ago ,” says Lauren , founder of Winnie ’ s World . “ I know exactly what it ’ s like to live with a challenging dog and want people to know that things can improve with a qualified professional by your side .”
Next year , Winnie ’ s World plans to launch affordable group programmes for those who are unable to pay for one-to-one support and establish further partnerships with local businesses , expanding her reach to dog lovers across North Kent and beyond .
