The esteemed Chichester Festival Theatre has returned and one of its most anticipated productions is the world premiere of Charlotte Jones ’ s new play Redlands , which follows the famous 1960s drugs trial of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards , directed by Chichester Festival Theatre ’ s Artistic Director , Justin Audibert . Starring Brenock O ’ Connor as Keith Richards and Jasper Talbot as Mick Jagger , this hugely entertaining production cleverley recalls this well-known turning point in cultural history and the clash between generations .

This thought-provoking exhibition will give visitors the chance to see the varied and distinctive sides of this remarkable illustrator ’ s work and career , known for his contribution to some of the greatest British novels of all time including Treasure Island , Alice in Wonderland and Animal Farm as a selection of these award-winning works are showcased . On 9 October the Dockyard will also be holding a specially tailored audio described tour for blind and visually impaired audiences and their families .

With festival highlights including , a Festival Family Fun Day at Lockmeadow on 6 October and an exciting collaboration with Maidstone Museum - following a screening of the film Hidden Figures , historians and authors Helen Fry ( Women in Intelligence ) and Caitlin Davies ( Private Inquiries ) will be discussing the fascinating but often hidden contribution that women have made throughout time .
