WHEELERS OYSTER BAR Wheelers has been a jewel in the town ’ s crown for over 165 years and is run today by Delia , who learned the art of seafood from her parents and proudly works with Mark and his team of skilled chefs to create delightful handmade dishes packed with local produce . Expect mouthwatering seafood including their very own native oysters , of course .

WHITSTABLE BREWERY Holding Whitstable ’ s culture at the heart of all of its creations , Whitstable Brewery was born over 20 years ago out of a desire for independently brewed quality beers . Since then , the team has explored a range of styles from traditional session strength beers such as golden ales to more modern tastes such as IPAs and fruit varieties . A favourite is their famous Oyster Stout , brewed with over 1,000 whole Whitstable oysters .

WHITSTABLE & TANKERTON SEAFRONT Stroll along the shingled beaches of Whitstable and Tankerton admiring the quirky beach huts and listening to the calming sounds of the tide . Complete with spectacular sunsets and spots for crabbing , it ’ s no surprise this pretty stretch of coastline is regularly visited in both warm and crisper weather .
WHITSTABLE CASTLE & GARDENS First known as Tankerton Towers , Whitstable Castle was formerly a residence for the Pearson family in the late 1970s . Since its refurbishment in 2010 , it ’ s now managed by the Whitstable Castle Trust and is a beautiful venue for weddings , workshops and community events . Visit the children ’ s play area , stroll the flourishing gardens and stop off at The Orangery Tea Rooms for a freshly baked scone .
WHITSTABLE HARBOUR Built in 1832 with the purpose of bringing coal in from North East England at a lower cost , Whitstable Harbour is a working harbour with a small fishing fleet and regular cargo deliveries that ’ s home to a market village of artists and producers , lots of fresh seafood and many foodie hotspots . Becomes a hive of activity during the annual September Oyster Festival celebrations .
