Aiming to champion Kent ’ s diverse range of food and drink , this seasonal food festival is set to return for another fabulous feasting weekend for its autumn celebrations . Gathering passionate foodies from up and down the county and set in Broadstairs ’ Victoria Gardens , the event will offer visitors free entry and stalls from over 100 handpicked exhibitors showcasing the likes of street food favourites , preserves , cheeses , artisan breads , tipples , sweet treats and more . This year ’ s exhibitors include Beardy B ’ s Lemonade , Cheesemakers of Canterbury and Elle ’ s Bakery .

Making the most of the light evenings this September , Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway will be holding a glorious evening steam train ride to The End of the Line Restaurant at Dungeness . Beginning at New Romney station , you will be greeted with a welcome drink before being seated at tables for a luxurious three-course meal , with dishes including cod and chips , a butternut squash Wellington and warm chocolate fondant - soaking up the relaxing atmosphere before embarking on the return journey .

This thought-provoking new exhibition from British artist Anya Gallaccio will span three decades of her outstanding work , restaging several iconic pieces in addition to a new sitespecific commission - revealing her consistent rethinking of the relationship between art and the environment by presenting works that connect with Kent ’ s natural heritage . Complementing Gallaccio ’ s exhibition , Turner Contemporary has developed an extensive school programme in partnership with the artist . The programme , titled An Apple a Day , aims to explore Kent ’ s countryside , heritage and history of the county ’ s apple orchards .
