Returning to the grounds of Kent Life Heritage Farm is the annual Hops ‘ n ’ Harvest Beer Festival . Visitors can look forward to joining in with the traditional handpicking of hops , meeting historical characters and sampling a wide variety of brewed ales and ciders . Live music from local musicians will light up the grounds and there will be plenty of animal adventures for the kiddies . Be sure to visit the Oast House to witness the hopmaking process from picking to drying .

Day two of the course offers activities inspired by the couple ’ s gardening techniques held at Sissinghurst Castle Garden where Vita and Harold ’ s horticultural learnings became a legacy .
