MADE IN KENT RADIO LAUNCHES NEW STUDIO & MEDIA LAB AT BLUEWATER SHOPPING CENTRE
In an exciting new development for local broadcasting in Kent , Made in Kent Radio has announced the grand opening of its brand-new studio at the iconic Bluewater Shopping Centre . For the past three years , Made in Kent Radio has been the go-to station for residents , championing local businesses and talent with a vibrant mix of music and engaging personalities like Kent ’ s own James Heming .
Matt Soper , founder of Made in Kent Radio , commented : “ Bluewater isn ’ t just a shopping hub , it ’ s a destination in our community . Basing our new studio within such a dynamic environment is a dream come true . We ’ re not just opening doors to a studio , we ’ re unlocking opportunities for local engagement and entertainment .”
Set for a grand opening on Monday 5 August , the Studio & Media Lab will become a training ground for future media creatives , inspiring and educating young people interested in media , radio and presenting .
CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR ROCKY HORROR SHOW 2024 / 25 UK TOUR
Singing superstar Jason Donovan is set to thrill theatre audiences later this year , joining the cast of Richard O ’ Brien ’ s legendary rock ‘ n ’ roll musical The Rocky Horror Show to star as Frank ‘ n ’ Furter in the 2024 / 2025 UK tour .
Back by popular demand , the show is set to open at the Churchill Theatre , Bromley , from 19 - 24 August 2024 , with the cast hitting the road until 1 February 2025 .
The Rocky Horror Show defies space and time , captivating audiences around the world featuring all the beloved songs , outrageous characters and infectious energy that has made the show a global phenomenon for over five decades .
Neighbours ’ icon and pop legend Jason Donovan , said : “ I am thrilled to dive into the exhilarating role of Frank ‘ n ’ Furter with a fantastic new cast and Timewarp with audiences throughout the UK . We promise to deliver the freshest Rocky EVER that audiences will not forget . So , buckle up , as this show promises to be a wild and wicked ride !”

Sketch may have garnered a reputation as one of the most Instagrammable restaurants in London , yet few visitors know the captivating stories of Mourad Mazouz , the visionary who crafted one of the most multi-sensory and visually stunning dining experiences in London .
Speaking in a new episode of The Pearl Lam Podcast called The Instagrammable World Of Sketch , international gallerist Pearl Lam talked with Mourad about the creation of his Michelin-starred experience : “ I always see it as a daisy . Every detail is a petal . If I take three or four petals away , you will not keep the beautiful daisy because you will miss a part of it ,” Mourad said .
Most recently , the restaurant has collaborated with millennial artist Mr Doodle , who has taken over Sketch with his signature designs on the famed pod toilets - another stop in his quest to spread his DoodleLand phenomenon across the globe .
