Tenterden Town station is home to the original Maidstone & District Omnibus Station building from Mill Street Maidstone , opened by The Maidstone & District Motor Services Limited in 1922 , and is thought to have been the first purpose-built bus station in the country . To celebrate this , Tenterden Town station will be setting up more than a dozen vintage buses , with some offering free rides to a number of local destinations , and stallholders will also be pitching up to sell a selection of vintage memorabilia .

The annual Tractorfest will be pitching up at Holden Farm again this August to celebrate their 10th anniversary .
