In 2012 , father-and-son team Peter and Michael set up a microbrewery at Brogdale Farm in Faversham . They are hoping their beers will be enjoyed by people who have already discovered the delights of craft beer and want to cheer on those new ale drinkers who want to join in with the ale revolution going on in the UK .
Try : Rosa ’ s Thai-PA . A crisp pale IPA produced with Target , Cascade , First Gold and Hallertau Blanc hops balanced with fresh Thai lemongrass and lime . Vegan , 4.6 % ABV .

Founded in 1986 by Marjorie and Ted
Dockerty , Larkins produces four standard and two seasonal beers all made using only hops grown on Larkins Farm and their closely guarded , 31-year-old strain of live ale yeast . Marjorie and Ted are currently growing four varieties of hops : Early Choice , Goldings , Bramling Cross and Whitbread Golding , yielding nearly 1,500kg of hops annually .
Try : Traditional Session IPA . This smooth , Kentish-style tawny session bitter provides a pleasing balance of hops and malt with a surprisingly plentiful character for a beer of such low ABV . 3.4 % ABV .
