Set to return to entertainment venue Elwick Place ’ s Piazza after a successful debut last year , ASHFOOD ! invites families to join another fabulous weekend of great food and drink , joyful community entertainment , free children ’ s crafts and more . For a day out amongst the Kentish countryside , plan to visit the fields of Holden Farm for the yearly Tractorfest as they celebrate their 10th anniversary this August . Sure to entice families of all ages , view over 200 tractors expected to be exhibited , watch engaging demonstrations and meet with lots of animals . This year ’ s arena demonstrations will include falconry , a dog show and sheep agility , with craft exhibits such as wood turning and spinning plus many more throughout the weekend .

Held in the medieval churches of Kent ’ s Romney Marsh , this wonderful multiarts festival , collated for the second year by esteemed conductor Nicholas Cleobury , continues to capture the hearts of local arts fans year after year with its passionately curated and truly extraordinary programme of events . This July , Changeling Theatre will open the festival with a new production of Noel Coward ’ s Present Laughter , Canterbury Cathedral Choir will come together with the London Mozart Players for an enthralling performance of Fauré ’ s Requiem and artist John Ballard will return with an eye-catching exhibition of photography , pen and ink drawings and oil paintings of the various Romney Marsh churches that the festival will visit for performances . Whatever showcases you choose to attend , revel in the clever representation of both the artists ’ and local community ’ s shared love of artistic expression .
