Renowned for its flourishing and historical gardens , Riverhill has been the home of the Rogers family since 1840 and now welcomes hundreds of visitors each year to explore the grounds and join the exciting seasonal events . This May , visit the gardens to witness the incredible collection , varying in size , colour and species , of magnificent rhododendrons and azaleas in full bloom . The gardens are closed on a Monday and Tuesday ( except for bank holiday Mondays ).
