HEVER CASTLE !
Make some special family memories at Hever Castle until 14 April with an eggcellent dinosaur-themed trail , craft activity and a sand dig . Meet the dinosaur explorers ( selected dates only ) as they wander around the grounds and round off your day with an animal-themed face paint ( additional charge , selected dates only ).
As well as the Easter activities , a visit to Hever Castle in spring offers a great chance to explore the stunning gardens . Enjoy a dazzling display of spring blooms from late daffodils to tulips . Children aged seven to 14 can explore the Tudor Towers adventure playground with its own moat , drawbridge , three turrets , three slides , two poles and other interactive elements .
Or why not challenge yourself not to get wet in the Water Maze ( fun for all ages ). Round off the day with seasonal home cooked food and mouthwatering cakes from the restaurant or bring a picnic and enjoy stunning views of the castle and grounds .
A Two-Week Celebration of Spring From blossom to bluebells , Hever Castle &
Gardens have got spring covered this year with a colourful celebration that promises to delight from 15 – 28 April . With thousands of tulips , spring bedding , cherry and apple blossom galore , magnolias , early rhododendrons , hyacinths , primulas , camassias and bluebells , there ’ s much to celebrate in the grounds .
The two-week celebration will be split into two distinct spring ‘ parties ’; throughout week one , visitors will be able to take a tour with the gardening team ( 11:30am and 2pm , Monday - Friday ; 11.30am only Saturday - Sunday ), while in week two the gardening team will be offering lively workshops including a ‘ Scratch & Sniff ’ hanging basket tutorial and an edibles hanging basket workshop ( Monday - Friday only ).
Former gardener turned florist , Emma Fuller- Wilke will also be doing a demonstration on how to create an eco , seasonal and foam-free flower arrangement using flowers and foliage freshly picked from the castle grounds on 22 – 28 April at 11.30am .
