RETURN OF THE MACKNADE FOOD VILLAGE
Get ready to indulge your taste buds and groove to live music ... Macknade Food Village has reopened its doors just in time for an Easter extravaganza ! The popular street food market promises a red Neapolitan pizzas , pasturefed burgers and delights from renowned vendors like Al Taco and Mamie ’ s Crepes .
Visitors can also quench their thirst with specialty drinks from Wild Box and Time & Tide while enjoying live performances . Families can also join in the fun with pizza-making workshops on April 5 and 12 , where kids can craft their own mini pizzas for just £ 5 each .
The Food Village , located at Macknade Food Hall in Faversham , will be open every Friday through Sunday until September 8 , with live music on the last Friday of every month and every Friday during the summer holidays .
2,000 LOCAL CHILDREN DISCOVER GREEN SCIENCE AT SEVENOAKS SCHOOL
Sevenoaks School welcomed more than 2,000 children from local primary schools at its annual celebration of science - STEAM Week - which included a programme of free shows , workshops and competitions on the theme of Green STEAM , exploring environmental issues such as climate change .
Attendees enjoyed a micro : bit coding class run by Sevenoaks School students , a liquid nitrogen demonstration led by James
workshop to explore conserving energy .
Celebrating the impact of the workshops , Hannah Crawley , science lead at Lady Boswell ’ s Church of England Primary School , said : “ As a teacher , the practical demonstrations , especially the liquid nitrogen and Energy Live shows , provided a hands-on experience that is often
