Pip Harris , now joined by partner Viktor , passionately brings to the historic town of Canterbury , Canterbury Tails - a creative combination of coffee , cake , cats and charm . With a background in computer animation but a lifelong love of cats , Pip opened her very own cat café in the May of 2023 ; determined to create an inviting haven of mental wellbeing , offering tasty food and beverages and , of course , homing a beautiful feline family , which currently stands at a cat crew of 25 ! “ We are always looking to keep making things bigger and better ,” says Pip . “ The most exciting thing for us this year is launching our ‘ helping hand ’ rehoming scheme , which will assist locals and local cats to find homes . We plan to offer advice on rehoming , set up a foster network , advertise cats looking for new homes on our socials and website , and help with home checks too . Coming through us , people who are looking for help rehoming cats will be reassured that we have the knowledge , resources , audience and community around us to provide adequate care and to find people as obsessed with cats as we are !”

With a background of over 12 years in the industry photographing the likes of wildlife , landscape and astrophotography , the very talented Nathan Hammonds began a new adventure back in 2019 , inspired by his own beloved pooch . “ I started furry friends photography in 2019 after plenty of kind comments on my photographs of Fudge , who , let ’ s face it , is my inspiration and main reason I got into this business - I definitely have to thank him for that !” Covering the whole of Kent , Furry Friends offers animal photography services for all much-loved pets , whether they be dogs , cats or horses . Nathan passionately visits pets and their owners at their homes with his mobile studio and takes trips to the great outdoors to visit pups ’ favourite locations . He also covers the commercial world of animal photography . “ I find working with animals an absolute joy and a privilege , from winning them over and watching their confidence build during the shoots to seeing their characters come through for me to capture .”
