Celebrate Mother ’ s Day amid the blossoming grounds at Penshurst Place and wander the beautiful gardens as they spring into life at the start of a new season . With something for all the family , drop-in sessions are available in the Craft Barn from 11am to 3.30pm for youngsters to create a unique Mother ’ s Day plant pot collar . Once completed , the personalised creations can be presented at the Plant Centre , where children will receive an exclusive 50 % discount on a potted plant perfectly sized to wear their freshly designed collar .
On Saturday , card-making crafting is also on offer while on Sunday young visitors can enjoy face-painting sessions . Crafting sessions and materials are included free within the cost of admission to Penshurst Place and run daily on 9 and 10 March between 11am and 3.30pm .
