A twist on J . M . Barrie ’ s classic fairytale , Peter Pan , the production seamlessly integrates physical comedy , clever wordplay , and a touch of improvisation . Written by Henry Lewis , Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields , and performed by the incredibly talented cast of the Mischief Theatre Company , the show follows the characters as they embark on a journey to Neverland . The play within a play concept adding an extra layer of hilarity as the fictional Cornley Drama Society attempts to stage their own version of Peter Pan . The deliberate mishaps , technical glitches and on-stage disasters are ingeniously choreographed , offering a rare glimpse into the backstage chaos that usually remains hidden from the audience .
