Mount Ephraim , Faversham
A privately-owned family home in the heart of the county , Mount Ephraim comprises over 800 acres of woodland , pasture , a fruit farm and of course , its pièce de résistance : a grand country house . The house itself is a late Victorian Grade II listed manor house , originally built in 1695 , rebuilt in 1878 and then extended in 1913 .
The accommodation is split between two settings within the main house – the West Wing with its five luxurious double ensuite B & B rooms and the Garden Wing , a self-catering wing with six double bedrooms , two shared bathrooms and plenty of downstairs living space . All rooms have wonderful views of the manicured gardens and beautiful surrounding countryside . The accommodation can be hired out individually , or as a whole , with the main end of the house also available to rent for private events .
New for 2024 ! Two timber-framed luxury glamping pods with double bed , sofa bed and ensuite bathroom will be available to rent from Easter onwards .

A beachfront belle of a boutique hotel in the artful , fun-filled town of Margate , No . 42 was once a Victorian house in the halcyon days of the great British seaside . Sitting elegantly poised above the main swathe of golden sands , giving guests dreamy views across the bay , No . 42 is one of the latest and trendiest additions to Margate , having opened in July 2023 . Bedrooms are sometimes balconied and always rich with heritage detailing , while original features have been preserved and paired with all the modern touches you may need . There are four places devoted to food and drink - a restaurant , a café , and a laid-back lounge bar , all under one very fun rooftop cocktail bar with bird ’ s eye views - but all holding local ingredients and skills on high . The treatment rooms are very mellow spaces where highly skilled therapists target their expertise to help you feel brand new .

In one room , a hoard of 17 gold coins were found in a broken flowerpot under the floorboards and later declared a treasure trove by the British Museum . Thought to have been deposited by Edward Boys at some point in the 17th century , this is just one of many exciting historic tales that comes with a stay here .
Today , each of their bedrooms is individually designed , all with super-king luxury beds , Egyptian cotton bedlinen , fluffy towels and the little touches to make you feel pampered and guide you into a dreamy stay .
