2023 saw the latest addition to Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve ’ s luxury short break collection : The Lookout Bubble . Blending in with the landscape , the transparent domes of The Lookout Bubble immerses guests in nature and offers the most spectacular display of the stars overhead from the comfort of their king-sized bed .
Surrounded by nature in a secluded nook at the heart of the reserve , The Lookout Bubble is a haven for wildlife lovers . Awaken to the dawn chorus of the neighbouring lion pride and take the short walk to your front gate with your morning coffee to greet Hunter , Oudrika and the rest of the pride before the reserve opens to day visitors .
Equipped with a free-standing bath overlooking the reserve and a separate ensuite wet room with complimentary Bamford products , The Lookout Bubble includes plenty of luxurious finishing touches to ensure you have a restorative stay . Although the bubble is equipped with a Nespresso machine , visit Port Lympne ’ s mansion for a slice of history with your morning coffee . Built in the early 20th century , this country house is quite a sight to behold and remains one of Kent ’ s most picturesque and wellkept odes to a grand past .

Tucked away in their own secluded spot in the water meadow , just a short walk from the main house ( itself dating back to 1638 ), the Stream Wagons are a brand-new addition to this Kentish favourite . Stroll past the bustle of the restaurant and the Kitchen Garden and out along the boardwalk , guiding you through sleepy willow trees and past the Hop Pickers ’ Huts – and you will find
the Stream Wagons tucked away in front of a quietly flowing stream . These perfectly private , stylish and spacious wagons have been designed using reclaimed timber and each have a double bed , an en-suite bathroom and a wood burning stove inside – as well as your own peaceful outdoor terrace .
