Preparing for the future
We have dedicated Sixth Form Skills sessions , where we consider future pathways , learn life-skills such as basic finances and living independently , and practice study skills to support their classroom learning . When it comes to future applications , we have formalised pathway programmes , with personal guided support . Over 90 % of students go to their first-choice university , more than half attend Russell Group universities and we have an increasing number applying for Degree Apprenticeship programmes , where they have the chance to work alongside their academic study for leading UK industries .
Resilience to achieve
We encourage and support students to develop themselves through a culture of independence , ambition and personal development , ready to achieve their goals in the wider world post-school . Students have some 100 co-curricular clubs and activities to choose from ranging from the philosophy society to horse riding . There really is something for everyone !
