IF THEY CHOOSE TO STAY IN EDUCATION FULL TIME , THEY HAVE THE CHOICE TO ATTEND EITHER A SCHOOL THAT CATERS FOR SIXTH FORM , OR A NEW COLLEGE .
Fortunately for us Kent-dwellers , The Garden of England is one of the most outstanding counties in the entire country where education is concerned across both state and independent schools , of which there are many to choose from ! It ’ s a huge relief to know that there are so many fantastic schools dotted across the county and deliberating over a bounty of brilliant establishments isn ’ t a bad problem to have . For teens lucky enough to be born and bred in Kent , it means their further education is guaranteed to be excellent and that they will learn the essential life skills that a great school imparts in exceptional surroundings while being taught by teachers – both engaged and engaging – who love what they do .
A large number of schools across Kent offer a sixth form . You may choose to stay at your current school as it enables you to continue your studies in a familiar environment with people that you know . You also have the option to apply to a new school if you feel that they offer more suitable subjects for your chosen pathway , or you just fancy a change of learning environment .
Sixth forms tend to offer smaller classes , more teaching structure and student support than colleges . If you are unsure of what you may like to pursue as a career in the future , it is important to consider choosing subjects that will allow you to keep your options open . Whatever path you choose , sixth form offers much more than simply an academic education and nurtures students to become confident and warm-hearted young people , set apart in their drive and ambition , who understand the importance of community and their part in it . With any luck , they will be future leaders and contributors to society , leaving sixth form ready and prepared for their life ahead .
